Magazyn Materiałów Literackich Cegła is a Wrocław-based literary magazine, published since 2001 and edited by Karol Pęcherz. At present, the graphic layout is designed by Karolina Wiśniewska. Initially taking the form of a literary art zine, Cegła has evolved towards a magazine-gadget basing on innovative publishing formats and a coherent conception integrating content and form. Combining literature and design, it encourages the creative confrontation between young authors of poetry, prose and texts in literary criticism and renowned authors. 50 issues published between 2001-2022 are available at www.magazyn-cegla.net.

Each issue of the magazine is a unique, unusual publishing project reaching far beyond traditional magazine forms. A cigarette pack, a flirt card game, Christmas wafers, mirror reflection or Cegła on stamps ? these are just some examples of ideas turned into reality. Every edition explores a different subject.
